This chance won't come again
Throw caution and myself into the wind.

school was fine. its school, you know?
lynn and i shifted to the front next to eve/val. since zoe was absent and rebecca is in london. concluded that its MUCH better sitting in front if you want to pay attention to lessons. both of us actually listened to the teachers. felt so enlightened.

anyhow, i passed hcl test!!! not by much, but i didnt study or prepare at all. so its ohkay, i ll try harder next time.

amath retest was hard. its even worse than the first test. GAH. there goes my passing grade.

art hist:val and i were avoiding the aep studio primarily because mr tan is back from ns and we havent handed in our a1 japan trip art piece yet. we didnt dare to go into the maclab. xD and he wouldnt go away! ahahaha. so then we sneaked into the room to put down our bags first and then ran out. its was really funny coz the moment we were runing out he turned around and was like. "hello!" HAHA. we ran out laughing, leaving a very perturbed mr tan behind (i suppose.) we were all awake during aep FOR ONCE. ms low gave us this worksheet to fill in during lesson on the lesson and didnt switch off all the lights. haha. smart woman.
aep was actually fun, albeit kinda frustrating at times (esp for ning. haha) when the bloody character wouldnt bloody move. flash animation actually IS kinda addictive. hoho. just very tedious.

reached home at 730.

made this banana/peanut butter in wholemeal bread sandwich. its nice! :D and no, its not dinner. that was an after-dinner-snack. hurr hurr.

its therupetic.

oh, yes. geography ca tmr. ive got pages 6-74, 80-88 to study. JOY!

saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.

i have time to blog today! before heading out to hdb hub.

chem paper was so deceiving! at first the questions were pretty ohkay, you know. very do-able. then the last page had these really really difficult questions = i felt so cheated! and at the very last page too. no time to ponder on the answers at all. uuuuuuuuuuurk.

chinese paper was pretty ohkay though, cept that i thought the period ended at 15 minutes past the hour when it actually ends at 35 minutes past the hour. so i saw the minute hand ticking at 10 minutes and was kinda frazzled since i only just started on compre. so i rushed the answers and ended up getting really illegible chinese characters (poor laoshi). then as i was doing the paper (at the third question) i was wondering about what a long 5 minutes it was=.=. then i realized that hey! its until 35. pooh.
couldnt do the sentence for that strange phrase though. i swear ive never seen that phrase in my life.
laoshi had trouble making us hand in our test papers because quite a few hadnt managed to finish. she kept repeating "shi jian daaaooo!" then mr eric tan was at the door, imitating her.
mrtan: shi jian dao le! shi jian dao le!
laoshi: hahaha. kuai dian jiao juan zi!
mr tan: shi jian dao!! donnng. dooongg.
7 yue dao le....... ni you kan dao gui ma.....?
laoshi: ah, shi ya. jing tian shi chu yi.

yes. mr tan is rather strange.

oh, and evelyn didnt come today again. =.= woman abandoned me yet AGAIN on a test day. =.= =.= =.=

lit was really funny. in the middle of enemy of the people just when mr armstrong was at the part where peter is telling dr stockmann about the water pipe reconstruction. we were interrupted by screams and OMIGAWDS coming from our dear fellow 3/4 friends. apparantly a cockroach had invaded their classroom and ms teo tried hitting it with a wad of newspaper (for a so called "painless death") while some others chased it around the classroom spraying insecticide, rather unsuccessfully. mr armstrong went to see what the commotion was all about and came back with a handful of newspaper housing a nice flat squashed dead cockraoch. hurr.
he tried throwing it into our classroom dustbin. we all protested. NOOOOO. we dont want any dead organism rotting in out dustbin, thankyouverymuch. hahhaa.
then he put it somewhere outside the classroom. and came back and said something about the cockroach population in the world to help reconstruct the water system round kirsten springs =.=
ha, ha.

the rest of the day was super slack. three free periods! :D

You're beautiful; You're beautiful.

ohkay, UPDATE.

saturday was FUN, although tiring.
met in school at 645, we were all half-alseep. meryl and i each took TWO seats to ourselves and lay down to take a nap. hurrhurr.
the bus had empty seats anyway!

reached kallang and did warm ups, watched the juniors play and cheered them on. our dear senior citizen sheryl graced us with her presence. hoho. senior's games was only at 130pm. SUN. bernice brought sun tanning oil. hohoho. she and cherre applied and lay down on the sidelines to tann during our breaks. haha.

vanessa was being spastic, as usual. ahaha. her idian accent songs are damn hilarious though. should type out the lyrics.
oh yes, not forgetting the $118 worth of macs we all had for lunch. bunch of junkies xD.
anyhow. we tied for 2nd but lost to st hilda's because of tie difference. dang!

went home happy and exhausted.

his homily was supposed to be... inspiring. hmmmm..

rope comes loose.

a boat, floating,
leaving.

a boat, floating,starting to drift,
uncertainly.

the boat, floating, starting to drift, rocking,
leaving familiarity.

that boat,
floating, drifting, rocking,
unconsciously.

awakened,
all alone,
on the silent seas.

ENFJ- The Teacher

You scored 63% I to E, 47% N to S, 30% F to T, and 36% J to P!

Your type is known as the teacher, or the educating mentor. You also
belong to the larger group, called idealists. You tend to bring out the
best in other people. You lead without seeming to do so. People are
naturally drawn to you. You expect the very best from people which
takes the form of enthusiastic encouragement which is so charming that
people try their best not to disappoint you. You share your personality
type with 3% of the population.

You need to feel a deep and meaningful connection to your romantic
partners, and go to great lengths to understand and please your mate.
Harmony is vitally important to you, and you often put others' needs
before your own. You have a pretty thin skin and are easily hurt.
Although you strive for harmony, when your values or ethics are
violated, you can be very emotional, confrontational, and even
punishing. However, you are very insightful about the underlying cause
of conflicts, and an excellent communicator, so you have the tools to
bring about a quick and peaceful resolution as long as you can keep
control of your facilities. You want to be appreciated for your
thoughtfulness and compassion. You need your partner to make a real
effort to get to know you. Above all, you need to be able to express
your feelings and have them taken seriously.

Your group summary: idealists (NF)

Your type summary: ENFJ

Cat Burglar

You scored 73% Subtlety, 50% Leadership, and 90% Forethought!

Brilliant. You're the subtle type, and you know what you're dealing
with (more often than not, anyway). Keep it under the radar, and you'll
come out of it all one smiling bastard. Make sure to trust your gut,
because with the knowledge you've developed, it's a bad move to go
against it.

You work alone, and it's not bad to stay that way. A mildly paranoid
thief is a thief who gets out alive and uncaught. Two pieces of advice:
1. Never go unprepared; working alone means you've got to be perfect,
all by yourself. and 2. Never attach yourself to anything you can't
walk away from in 30 seconds or less.

Please rate this well.

concerned that it may not get a second term.
Therefore, we are going to change the rules so

today is a good day

Posted by coffeecup at 04:41 PM on August 24, 2005.

for several reasons, in fact.

- i scored in the 20s range for both amath and emath tests. quite refreshing from all the failures ive racked up from math so far.

- "training" was very relaxing. ms shanthi cancelled official training at the last minute, but mel/shunli and i just hung around shooting and being weridly hysterical. liling and jessica joined us for a while then left.

- finally completed and handed in my bao zhang du hou gan to laoshi. something off my mind.

- no tests tomorrow. halleiluiah. (sp?!)

ohkay. that may not seem like very substantial reasons for dubbing it a "good day". perhaps its just because im feeling much more relaxed and not as frantic compared to the first half of the week. not that i was stressed, but its just... very...... relaxing. hmm. my vocab has gone limp.
