today was kind of sluggish.
Had stations of the cross service in school first thing in the morning. the hall was blardy humid and warm and hot and humid.
We were all supposed to add our flower to the "spiritual bouquet", hence i have made a resolution to abstain from meat (fish is not counted!) for the last week of lent.

someone please PLEASE remind me, if not i might conveniently forget and merrily continue to eat.

anyhow, emaths test was pretty simple, and for add math we've started on differentiation of logarithms. such a thing should just cease to exist =.=

went for faith formation pascal meal last night. its been quite a while since i last met with everyone.

anyway, was still hungry so headed to prata house. the guys wanted to eat icekimo while jiaying wanted prata, so we struck a deal. we made a bet to stay and eat at prata house if someone came to take our orders within 2 minutes (we had been trying to get our orders taken for the last 10 minutes), without having to ask any of the waiters. ie, sit there and stone and see if anyone comes to take our orders.
one guy almost did, but then he just looked at us and walked past =.= so we headed for icekimo, split two sundaes. gosh i missed icekimosundaes.

sat around and talked about mundane stuff. got home by 12.



went jogging this morning. ran off the icecream! ahahaha. and practiced for 2.4. which is, unfortunately, tomorrow. dangg.

rciy training was ohkay, although it didnt really count as training. transferred over to rciy instead of rcic, for various reasons. it worked out well since amy was planning to shift me there too since they needed more hands on deck. i'm actually looking forward to it. :)

HCL mys tomorrow, and i havent even touched anything remotely chinese; just chem, chem and geog all day. so much for setting priorities based on examination dates. -shrugs.

chinese paper was killer! well, mainly the thrid comprehension passage, which i couldnt comprehend AT ALL. =\ bummer.

anyhow, went for aep after the paper. it was a total stress reliever. uni and i got high on jay chou songs and music vids (silly goose actually went all the way home to get the cd to play on the macs in the studio.hur!) and just squealing over how cute he is :D hooray for jay chou mania!
I was just HIGH and terribly prone to sudden fits of laughter, with all the jokes and comments floating about.
rachel enlisted chere's and my help to move up this huge 2.5 by 1.5 thick wooden plank from the dnt lab (1st floor) all the way to the room on the 4th floor of the techblock. apparently, she already asked mr rashid to saw it according to her desired dimensions (she s doing installation for aep olvl project, see) and so all that was left was to shift it up.

we were dragging it to the lift, and then realized that it was TOO TALL to fit through the lift door. poor rachel was in such a fit of panic until we tilted it and jammed it straight into the lift. beats carrying it up four floors. -shrugs.

and then we FINALLY got it into the room.

me and chere: DONE! anymore left to shift?
rachel: uh.. yes
me and chere: oh! how many more?
rachel:..... nine?

WHAAAAAAAAAATT???

but we didnt shift all nine up anyway. stopped at two for today. HA. HA. HA.


i ate so much tofu at dinner. raahh.

i seriously need to get my ass into study mode. all i've been doing is well, stoning, reading irrelevant fiction novels and uhm. downloading anime which is *supposedly* an incentive to watch after the mids. hmm.

not to mention that i have a MAJOR breakout on my forehead due to overexcessive consumption of acidic fruits. =.= and i ve been flattening my fringe over it to cover it up, which is not the brightest of ideas because it adds to the oil content in your pores. ugh. so much for an apple a day keeping the doctor away. hell, it brings the dermatologist right to your doorstep.

aep isnt going that well either. i have effectively three measly days to scrounge up two more decent designs. it helps that ive done the main first hand sketches already, but THREE DAYS?? thats pure madness. on the other hand, i bought these pretty clip things to fasten the artblock papers to the board, so that i can slouch or lie surpine or whatever peculiar position and still do some drawing. hah! its always nice to have pretty stationary. charming little details add to the motivation, ay?

today was the best. i haven't let loose so much since forever. hahaha

despite having barely 4 hours of sleep, i managed to get through PE and the rest of my lessons without falling into deep slumber. Although perhaps it was the fact that i was frantically drawing and churning out more designs to fill up my prep boards in every single class that i didnt have the time to bloody feel sleepy.

mrs mag low's class was hilarious. she was talking to us about our lit unseen test and how she got 4/1 in groups to peer-mark random essays from our class, one of which unfortunately happened to be mine, of which even more unfortunately happened to be incomplete. hurr. She went on about how majority of our class was terrble at lit unseen and she couldnt punish us by making us drop to sub lit, hence we were DOOMED.

YES, she literally told us that we were going to FAIL and that our class was DOOMED. it was, ironically, SUPER HILARIOUS. or maybe we were tickled by the utter desperation and hopelessness of the situation. oh well.


After school, we rushed aep, screaming and graoning in frustration. Then went with nasha to central to grab out 17 food items. concurrently, evelyn was doing some stuff TOTALLY un-evelyn like to stall uni -- drag her to united square to go to POPULAR and consistently push her into going to the toilet. HAHAA. it was so funny! especially since the situation called for desperate measures and uni was so oblivious to everything going on behind her back. i suppose she was rather pertubed at evy's peculiar behaviour, but dismissed it as a side effect of pinaapple overdose?

well, we met charlie at central. managed to get 16 items, each of them a favourite food of darling eunice. didnt have time to get the 17th item - cheng tng, so we happily labelled ourselves as the 17th gift. HEH.

17 gifts because she's turning seventeen, see.
all of which are a kind of food she loves: rockymountain marshmellows, hershey's dark, kaya bun, old chang kee curry puff, bread talk spicy flossbun, MOS fish burger and milk tea, crystal jade pandan spongecake and chicken wings, char siew pao, fan choy, mr bean kaya pancake, chicken cheese hotdog from outside CINE, subway cookies.

we were running around central to grab everything. val, me, nasha and charlie then made our way to uni's house. with all the food. hoho.
Evelyn had called uni's mom to arrange everything yesterday so it was alright.
We laid all the food on the table, numbering them 1 to 16 with fluoroscent pink post-it notes, and one on each of us with the number 17. hahaha.

Apparently, because of a slip of the tongue, uni's mom accidently announced that "oh, your friends are here!". OOPS. so with some quick thinking, got val to call uni to inform her that we were at her house to pass her the AEP work she handed in, which ms low found unsatisfactory and needed ammendments. HAHA. Needless to say, she was shocked and mortified and felt like crying. TEE HEE HEE. poor girl. By the time she reached home, with eve in tow, and the ploy was revealed, we all sat down by the TV to watch.... INITIAL D!!

Edison chen's every appearance on screen was greeted with squeals and gigles and "AHHHHHHHHHH SO HOT SO HOT".

HAHAHA. and then when jay chou had the ^*&%&%$^%#(*% girl kiss him we were all like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!



fun lah. all while eating tiong bahru mini char siew bao, beef jerkies, and this super delish korean dish uni's mom whopped up for us.
